The Border Reivers Run 2007

The Reievers Run for 2007 took place fundamentally, on or around the old Roman road travelling West to East, adjacent to Hadrian's Wall. The route took in the Roman camp of Birdoswald, the Villa complex at Vindolanda, Chesters Roman Fort and the military base at Housesteads. The evening meal was at the Robin Hood Inn, with the prize giving and then a short run to Belsay Castle and Hall just north of Pontelard (west of Newcastle-upon-Tyne) that took place on the Sunday
