Classics Monthly magazine- photoshoot 10/2/08
Who could ask for better weather last Sunday? Ideal for a photoshoot.
Paul Yates had been asked to gather a selection of Gilberns for a six page article in the above magazine.
The result -a stunning display of Gilbern history, starting with Tom French's GT, his dad Roger's Genie, Paul's Mk2 and my Mk3.
After the initial static pictures came the action shots on the roads around Chorleywood Common.
Finally came the road tests. When I say road tests, I mean tested to destruction!
The cars were really put through their paces by the motoring journalist Ivan Ostroff.
Once my Mk3 cooled off I could go home. Funny I have never found the M25 relaxing before!
All in all an exciting day - can't wait to see the professional results in print.
