I am a longterm member in Switzerland with a LHD Invader Mk 3.
In addition I acquired the above mentioned car as nobody wanted it as it is in parts. I think the car is worth restoring it but it will give a lot of work. I will not do it due to my age and other cars.
I am therefore looking for somebody from the club who is willing to take this task.
The car is IN 1118, the registration was UAM 868J, it belonged to John Milne, 4 Fullwood Walk, Stoke-on-Trent until about 2006??
Thereafter it was sold into Switzerland and totally dismanteled. But it might be complete.
There is a problem there are the UK documents with it, but no import paperwork into Switzerland as it was thrown away by the owner before me. But thre are import documents for a second Gilbern which no longer exists (M 30173, Invader Mk 3, imported in May 2007).
Should a club member be interested in the car, he can get it near Basel and I will give it for free when it will be restored. But it's a huge project!!
I could send some pictures to those who are interested (please pass the e-mail address to me).
Regards
Hans Raeber
