some years ago there was talk of getting heated front screens manufactured, did it happen are they available ?

Hi Stuart,

Yes the club did look into it and a batch of five were produced for the GT1800, as the take up was from those who raced FIA cars, very much a must have item if you are entering the Spa 6 hour race!

They were approximately 30% more expensive than the standard screen, this also was done when our screen production was based in the UK and not like it is now when they are produced in Finland.

So if we were to do this for 3 litre cars we would need at least five people to agree to purchase one, the current price of a front screen is £419.00, so I think it is safe to assume they would be around the £550.00 plus mark.

We also found that the heated screens for some reason were 0.5mm thinner than the normal un heated screen.
