Not tried the bulbs yet, but I have these:

they are sealed beam headlights, a bit pricey, but ECE approved and I'm very satisfied with them

I used headlight bulbs from the chaps below in my GT.
Nice white light. But main driver for me was reducing current draw - I run a racing battery, and prefer lighter wiring.
