Hi everybody,
I live in Belgium (just near Spa-Francorchamps Circuit).
I'm a fan of Gilbern GT for ... Oh, 20 years maybe ...
And in 2008 I've had the chance to buy my own GILBERN GT : CKJ 849 C - chassis B100161 from 1965.
Past owner was Edward LUCAS, an sympatic English man who lives in France.
The car is in good condition but the paint (off white) is cracked so the car is gone for a new paint and 'll be finished for this summer (I hope ....). The new paint 'll be the same green as the aston martin DB4 Zagato. Does anybody know the reference of this colour ?
I'm looking for any information, archive or picture about my car.
I try to trace the complete history of this car.
Past owner told me that CKJ 849C was the property of Emil Rosner in 1965.
I've received this morning a mail fron Brian Gent who told me that my car raced at Wiscombe Hill Climb.
The engine's carb is a 40dcoe weber. Anybody knows some changes or technical modifications on this car ?
Any pictures of this car ??????
Thank for each reply and have a nice day with your Gilbern !
