Craig ..

I have a load of adverts which I have aquired, and keep HQ scans of mainly for the Estates... I also have an almost complete set of Rarebit from the days of just an A4 piece of paper to the present .. Just a few missing from the late 90's I think ...

I also have a lot of magazine articles about Estates, but sttill trying to locate a few, which I also keep in electronic HQ scan format...
I am still looking for a few to complete the "set" so am really hopeful that the GOC archives will soon be availiable so that I can complete my collections.

But the complete set of Rarebits is avaiable from Paul on the CD's of course..

P.S. .. Forgot to say I pick a lot of these up from the old magazine stalls at autojumbles... Got 3 different mags with articles in for just a fiver at Beaulieu last year.

One of the questions we a propose to be asked at the AGM is what plans are there to make the archive data, which I assume includes old adverts, held by the club available to the general membership. See http://www.gilbern.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=668.

If members are interested in the answer come to the AGM or email the Club Secretary to say you support this question.
Regards,

Derek

In trying to amass a complete set (ie, before Paul put the lot on CD) I bought a couple of sets off a well-known auction site. I think I spent about £25 or £30 on the auctions, but more than that in postage. Boxed-up Rarebits are heavy (!).

I have quite a few duplicates, and still lack about three issues of a full set (grrrrr).

If you PM me with your e-mail address, I'll send you a list of the duplicates. I'm open to reasonable offers, but you had better plan on picking them up, rather than paying postie. Which is a good excuse for you to meet up with the rest of us at one of Richard's Northern Region activities...

graham , do you have the prints of estates in a field? i have 2 prints which are original from roseland motors, truro ,cornwall, from the 70s theyre a bit bigger than a5 size , and wondered if you had any mk1/2 prints /ads/ to swap them for , or if not id swap them for a gilbern dragon for front grille and pay some cash as well,
as my uncle frank always said" it never rains in the tap room"

Craig ..

No I dont have the ones you are talking about, and would dearly love them or at least to be able to copy them.

Nearly everything I have is about the Estate, as being the Estate Historian, thats where my interest lies, and I'm afraid I dont have any swaps, or even a spare Dragon..

I have HQ electronic copies of them all if you would like them????

If you want to sell the adverts you have I may be interested, or if you would be willing to post them to me so that I could scan them, I will return them with a CD of the adverts and some other stuff that I have.

Deal or No Deal????

Grahame
