Please can some tell me if you can use alternative locks on a mk 1 invader.
I have ordered 2 assembly mechanism that on the side of the door and help keep the door closed from Brian but they do not work.
Now I cannot close the door and I have had to use rope to keep the door closed.
I would like to use something better as the existing barrel linkages and assembly unit are USELESS.
I have viewed Greybags photos and it is completely different setup.
Can anybody help or if you are in the south London area you are welcome to come round.

Sorry can't help much with the locks but just another plea to all members to update their profile with their location so these sort of posts are unnecessary.

Re: door locks and assembly
Hopefully the personal visit will sort this out for you, failing that some pictures would help.
The reason being, that the Mk1 is very much a transitional model between the Genie and the Invader Mk2. So may well feature elements of both in varying degrees, either by design or custom choice
