Hi,
Apologies for not getting around to this sooner as you have all been very helpful in helping me get the car back on the road for the first time in a number of years. The below link will take you my website that hopefully over the coming months will be a bit more than some pictures.
http://jonsgenie.googlepages.com/jon%27sgenie
As you can see the car is prepared for competition and is currently entered into the HSA Richard Egger Speed Championship http://www.hillclimbandsprint.co.uk/ The first outing was this weekend to Curborough and the car went very well apart from a grumble from the back end which apparently is not a major job.
Some of you may know the car as one Greg Ellaway owned, in fact it was almost a prerequisite of sale that it was entered into competition! Also previously owned by a Bruce Casey who apparently may have done the engine and suspension modifications. If possible I would like to know what state of tune the engine is in, as a 3.1 with a big Holley on top probably had other go faster goodies added.
I'll be at the National Day and hope to meet some of you
Cheers
Jonathan Plowe

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Re: Some pictures at last
Not sure what size the Holley is, where would I find the identifying number? I've put a better picture of the engine on my web site.
Regarding the servo I must admit to being a bit sceptical about the braking without one (the only car I've ever had without one was an old Land Rover, hilariously bad brakes) however I found the brakes really good with much better feel than servo'd brakes
