Hi guys, I did the MSA Classic on Sunday, starting from Chester along with about 50 other classics including
Eddy Yates in his Mk3. The Chester route covered 170 miles stopping at two stately homes and the MIRA test centre were we had a quick blast on the track. All rally entrants finish at Silverstone, approx 900 cars in total including four
Gilberns. Great event and fantastic weather, will definitely do it again. The finish at Silverstone allowed two laps of the track so I went prepared with onboard Video. On the first lap we followed a Mustang the noise it produced managed to drown out the Gilbern roar! Click on the link below and turn up the volume.

What a blast...
The Gilbern certainly looks to be holding it's head high as you pass the others ....
Did you get a video of the MIRA circuit...
Keep these vids coming everyone as it's the closest I get to actually driving my own....
Fantastic

I didn't bother setting the video up for MIRA, unfortunately it was not the banked track, there was about a mile of narrow perimiter track which eventually led to a quarter mile straight, probably an old runway; got it up to about a 'ton'. I'am trying to contact the Mustang owner because we believe he also had a video onboard. I was hoping to give it full welly on the second lap, but as you can see it all got a bit busy. The rule was 70mph max and no overtaking!
Not much chance of that happening.
