Would it be a good idea to have an Associate Membership to this club?
A reduced membership fee for not being an "Owner" but an associate of the club. People like Craig and others who are members of this forum but don't own a Gilbern. Obviously they would not have access to the spares facilty, they could not vote at the AGM etc. But they could have access to the members portions of this site and it may encourage them to either buy a Gilbern offer parts or technical advice. It would increase the clubs funds and broaden the member base for stability.
They could even have their own badge "Associate Member of The Gilbern Owners Club"
What do others think? comments most welcome from club members and non-members alike.

Re: Associate Membership?
I've thought about that before and I'm for it. After all there are only a finite number of Gilberns left so that puts a limit on Owner members.
Perhaps it would also encourge "Associate club members" members of other car clubs look TVR's, Reliants etc who share the Essex engine and so access to spare may be any idea to increase spare revenue.
