I used to own an Invader Mk1 reg VOV 5 J Does anyone know what happened to it? I sold it to a guy in Crowborough, East Sussex around 1984. Cheers Paul Burroughs

According to the DVLA it was last taxed for road use in 1983 and it was due for tax in 1984 but not taxed.

Guess it's still laid up or been scapped.

just tried link and it's timed out! Go to DVLA site, click on vehicle enquiry and type in reg number. I find it really useful service when looking into classic cars.

Given our friendly local Spares Secretary's address is in Crowborough, might it have been thoroughly disseminated by now?

Contrary to the previous post, as this car is last listed to Chris Smith there is a chance that this car is still extant. Certainly a call to the Gilbern Garage at Husbans Boswoth should provide the answer.
