It was actually a case of pennies from heaven, because an on-the-ball developers agent contacted me via the website, to find the owner or save the car and fortuunately we were able to do both!
Just part of the GOC recycling service.

Hi Rick, I find it amazing that how far the Gilbern car travels especialy as it was such a low volume production
I was born in the Liverpool Southport area (Formby) now residing in Ormskirk. I had some very close school
friends who emigrated to Perth, must make the effort to see them one day. I have a Gilbern Mark 11 which after a 3 year restoration have had many enjoyable holidays with members of the club visiting Isle of Man,
Scotland, touring Yorkshire and best of all the Historic Le Mans 24 hrs plus a tour or western France.
Happy motoring
Colin

Hello my name is Dave and me and my business partner John just bought NEV mk3 off ebay
You may remember us from EBT which we restored and sold a couple of years ago
I doubt I could persuade John to part with out latest Gilbern for less than a Ferrari - in fact I think we'd prefer the Gilbern over a Ferrari!

Hi,
I have returned to the fold after an absence of 8 or so years. I unfortunately had a problem with my brain - I actually thought I needed a different classic and not the MK3 I had !! Anyway the fog has cleared and I have now started the restoration of a MK2 Invader. To be honest I fell in love with that dashboard - what a cracker. The car needs pretty much everything done as it was involved in a front end bump in 1989 and hasn't seen the road since.
I am sure I will be posting quite a few questions etc over the months/years and I thank you all in advance for your help!
Best regards
Steve.

Hi all,
Been a member for a couple of months now so it,s about time I introduced myself, I am Nick, based in wet and hilly Huddersfield, recently became the the proud owner of a mk2 and in the process of getting her back on the road.
If there are any local owners with advice (apart from sell it while you still have your sanity) it would be good to get in touch.
Regards,

Hi Nick and welcome,
Get a post going in the 3ltr section and put some photos up.
Oh, and if you've already bought it, you already have no sanity left
