FBHVC 2011 Historic Vehicle Survey

Postby Greybags » Mon May 30, 2011 10:55 am

From the desk of Maurice Williams, the GOC FBHVC representative:-

Will all members and classic car owners please take the time to go to the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs web site http://fbhvc.co.uk/2011/05/24/2011-survey-now-underway-2/
and complete the survey.
It will only take a few minutes to complete and will provide Jim Whyman all the information he needs to campaign on our behalf to help keep our classic and historic cars on the road ..

Survey is a good idea, but was not well thought out.

The question on use had me stumped (for my other classic, the gilbern is still in bits). I use it more than 5 times a year, but less than every other week or so, and all year round, not just a few times in the summer.

Was it better to massively overstate, or understate my use of it I wonder?

Thanks for alerting us all to this, Maurice, and Grahame for hosting your posting (if that's not too poetic!)

Just to let everyone know that FBHVC are also surveying at the club organisation level, and I'm completing that side of it (Maurice, thanks for sending this on)

It's a good initiative of theirs, and let's hope that all Gilbloggers are able to contribute. Vic

I agree, survey not that well thought out, I did it though but the yes/no question box would not work for me so count me in as completing the survey!!
