Nice GT1800 for auction

[chrisjones]

OK I might be a bit biased as I have just acquired a GT. I came across this ad for another GT1800 at auction which if the guide price is correct seems pretty good to me. The car needs a bit of work under the skin ( don't they all?). https://themarket.co.uk/listings/gilber ... tatus=live

This is a well known GT within the club, and if somebody gets it within the guide prices they have got a bargain. I have already had 2 phone calls from people asking me if the advert was for real? As far as I can tell indeed it is.

Despite the sale price estimate of £6 - £8,000 pounds, the GT sold last night at 8pm on the 3rd of February for the much more realistic price of £12,567.00. Looking forward to the new owner making contact with the club.

Very pleased to report that the new owner David Bell has been in contact and joined the club today. Hopefully we will see the car at the clubs national day at Darlington in July.

Another very nice GT1800 (C.100272) is currently up for auction on Ebay, the car is based in Lanarkshire, Scotland. See sale item No.114106478703, lets hope it goes to a good home.

GT's seem to be all the rage at the moment.

A turn over of owners is a good thing, it will keep the cars active.

The GT sold for £11,557.00 on Ebay tonight (19th February 2020). Hopefully another club member is on the way.
