Hi Peter,
I rather thought this, but I couldn't say anything as I was not aware of who was bidding for the model on Ebay. We had a model of a GT presented to the committee a couple of years ago with a view of adopting it for sale by the club. We were not impressed and declined, and I was rather hoping that the model had been improved before being placed on the open market, but it seems not. I have to say that this entry on Ebay was the first I had heard about the model being offered for sale since that time, and I am obviously sorry that you are dissappointed with your purchase. In view of your comments I will not persue this any further - unless other contributers still want one for the novelty value or for posterity.

PS I believe there could be another model in the offing by a different manufacturer, but I cannot be sure. Time will tell

Message for Bruno,
Hi Bruno, I have not been able to get an email through to you about the model, as your email address keeps getting rejected on my machine. I hope you pick this up, for the time being I am not intending to buy any TW model GT1800. However if you still do want one I will chase it up for you. Let me know. Thanks, Roger Spares
PS Same applies to you Dave T - if you still want one let me know.

Hi All,
I have three orders for the model, plus DT who is still thinking about it - let me know Dave!. The manufacturer is due back from holiday at the end of the month and at that time I will find out how many he still has. SO IF ANYBODY WANTS ONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Cost is £45.00p for the kit, but if we get more orders I may be able to get the price down. Remember the kit is very basic and the shape leaves something to be desired, but it does have rarity value!!! Cheers

As promised attached are some mug shots of the model. It's a really manky piece of work. Only suitable for completists and only worth about ten quid in my view. I'll add the other pics in a separate note.

Sorry Roger, I'm out as well - there are just too many things wrong to even use it as the starting point for something better...
