Hello,
My name is Wynford Thomas (user:siandi) and I guess I'm the newest GOC member. I have a query on my Invader MkII steering wheel boss - I want to fit one of my spare Motolita wooden rim steering wheels but the existing boss has different mounting holes/number of anchor bolts(see fotos) - is there such a thing as an adaptor boss to suit MotoLita steering wheels?
thanks.......Siandi

Re: Hello & query
Siandi,
Welcome aboard !! The column on an Invader II is MGC so you can go to Moss Motors or any good MG supplier and buy a Motolita boss.
Also a plug for Roger Spares and the Club Spares who may also be able to help and are the normal first port of call for spares ..
Cheers
Chris

Re: Hello & query
Hi Wynford
I hear you've bought yourself a Gilbern, welcome aboard and good luck.
Ditto last post my first call would be to Roger spares.
My grandfather was from Brynamman not so far from you, the Black Mountains hold many fond memories for me, a lovely part of Wales.
When you get settled in don't worry will be in touch to join in local runs, car shows etc.
all the best

Re: Hello & query
Welcome to the madhouse ...
Hope you enjoy using the car ...
You can get various Bosses from Moto Lita from their web site ... http://www.moto-lita.co.uk/our-products/bosskit-product-detail01.aspx which shows the MGB/MGC column as using the B25H Boss..
Or if you have a good boss which probably has just 6 holes (sorry but cant see your pics) then it is quite possible to redrill the boss for the 9 hole Moto Lita wheel.
That is what I did as it saved me spending the 40 quid
Have fun
