Lots of people looking at the post but no replies yet.
To answer a question from elswhere. This is the red Mk3 on the models section of the club site and was also the last Gilbern ever completed, not in 73 but '1993' with club varified provenance to prove. It's only ever done 15000 miles and would make a superb car again without taking to nuts and bolts. It has sat on my path for a while, but was garaged previously. The body is perfectly intact.
Email me on ian.mcc1@tiscali.co.uk if you want to know more.
Thanks
Ian.

i think you may get a better chance if people know the asking price, or on the classified section, this site is famous for lookers, but no replies

Hi Craig,
"this site is famous for lookers, but no replies"
a bit negative given the assistance you have had on here?
In this case I am one of lookers, but experience tells me if a seller doesnt indicate price they usualy want/expect too much! While I want a Gilbern I am not in a position to pay the reasonable market price for a road worthy car, so havent followed it up anyway as one needing work.
If its a grand I'll have it

Thanks to all of the people who replied to my blog and wanted to buy the car.
The 'Red One' is now sold to a great guy, Willie (and his lovely wife) from Scotland, who was chuffed to his sporran with how good my Mk3 was.
All I can say is 'thanks' to a really nice bloke and I hope he enjoys the car.
Oh, and by the way, Gilbern prices are definately going UP!
Cheers again Willie,
Ian Mc.
