Hi all,
I've been given a budget price of £150 to £200 to rebuild the radiator for my MKIII with a high capacity core from a local supplier (Redditch).
Does this sound about right ?
Are there alternatives, such as a stock unit that would be cheaper and just as effective or does someone know an alternative (recommended) rebuilder.

Re: Radiator Rebuild cost
Hi Derek..
I had a radiator built to my own design, with a 4 row high flow core for £199.75, so sounds about right.
Pictures on the web if you follow the link...

Hello Derek,
Hornetradiators.co.uk rebuilt the rad on my mk3, put a high density copper core & i had it back in about a week. The cost was £165 & the car now runs much cooler even in heavy traffic,
Chris.
(p.s. they are based in Watford)
