Prospective new owner a few questions

Hi , thinking about owning a Gilbern and have a few questions if anybody can answer for me please .
What is the weight of a Invader 11 and how heavy is a Invader 3 I assume it’s heavier
And does the automatic box version have the same rear end ratio as a Manual overdrive?

Hi Roy (?) Mk2 is listed as 2415lbs or 1100kgs.
Yes a MK1 or 2 auto has a higher diff ratio than a manual/o drive 3.07 - 3.307:1
I wouldn't expect the MK3 to be much/any heavier than a MK2 as they are basically the same except for the front cross member.
I can't tell you the ratios off hand

FYI
The Mk3 kerb weight is listed as 2468lbs (1120kg), manual final drive ratio is 3.09:1, do not know of any difference for the auto.

Thanks for the MK3 info . That’s a pretty high rear end ratio so I guess it’s because the MK3 has 13 inch wheels .
