Just had a word with Steve who had his Britax sunroof done ..cost him £200 and that also included a new headlining in his MGBGT which he had done at the same time..

Done by a chap in Ivybridge, just outside Plymouth called Autotrim .. He upholstered one of the magazine (Practical Classic???) TR6 project cars some years ago.

Perhaps not a lot of use to you as quite a long way away, but probably find most trimmers whould be about the same price..

Have a look at http://www.lambocars.com/archive/paint.htm as it gives the PPG paint codes for your Fly yellow which all the auto paint factor should need to mix the paint..

colour options in 1972

Postby craig 12 » Tue Mar 03, 2009 9:09 pm

does anyone know if old english white was a colour option to the standard white? the reason im asking is my 72 was sold as frost white and on the log book it denotes, white with red (coachline) however as ive said before the discolouration has happened allover the car, even when the sun has,nt caught it, inside boot, under bonnet, sureley if it was a bright frost white it would have had traces of the white somewhere, or have i got it wrong in thinking that frost white was a very bright white, regards..craig
as my uncle frank always said" it never rains in the tap room"

According to one of the adverts I have aquired, one of the extras offered was for £10 you could have your new Gilbern painted any colour you wanted.

So in theory, you can have your car painted any shade you want and technically it will be right.. :D
