It looks superb ..

What is that red, as it looks perfect, nice and bright but not too orange..

Come on spill the beans, which red is it :?:

The red on the new Seat's is looking a strong contender as I get a bit closer to the respray every week..

i think that may be the same red on the car on our homepage,

under the heading of MODELS where it lists the mk 1/2 estate ,models
a nice red one with a red dragon grille badge.

also a red mk3 on this yrs national pictures looks the same red
as my uncle frank always said" it never rains in the tap room"

Its a ROSSO? red - they mixed it in the paint shop for us - told them to get it as close to Ferrari red as possible

Bring your car round for £1,500 we can get yours to look the same

At £1500 it might be worth putting it on a trailor and getting it the 300 plus miles to you ..

So far been quoted between £3500 - £10000 to do it down here.

Will probably do it myself, as althouth I love the car, it's not going to be a show car, it's going to be used, and I cannot bring myself to spend that ammount of money on just a paint job.

I have sprayed before and have looked into using water based paint which with the info I have from friends and have seen what they have achieved with it, with a couple of coats of laquer, I am most impressed with the easinest of it ..

Base coat goes on as a matt finish on which any faults are easily recified, and then a 1 pack clear..

Seen some really impressive stuff done by a couple of friends who have done their own cars in garages smaller than mine.

Just hope it passes the MOt as easy when it finally goes to the garage.

Grahame - If I were you, I'd start loading the trailer NOW, before he changes his mind.

IT HAS ON now 205 60 13s on rear, 175 70 13s on front .

But the one in that picture is 8 inch rim with 205 60 13

we had bigger tyres on the front but they were catching on wheel arch when on full lock.

I run 205/60/13 on my MkII front and rear and that's without the flared arches as on the MkIII's :D

It's a very tight fit.

I only get a slight rub on full lock.
