Limits on Flickr

Postby Reddi-Eng » Thu Nov 12, 2009 9:17 pm

I've just put a few more photo's on Flickr and its telling me I'm approaching the 200 limit and I have to pay to upgrade to Flickr pro. or I can only see the latest 200?

What have others done, paid up or gone to another site that allows more?
Regards,

Derek

You can sign back on to flickr using another e.mail address, sign up with the free ones, ie hotmail, gmail etc then link the photo albums and/or sign up with photobucket, picture-post or whatever and have the albums not linked.

I was doing all of the above for my wifes online business but in the end I just paid the money and wish I'd done that first

So I would suggest pay the money and sign up with pro, it's not much and avoids stuffing around with various email accounts, photo accounts, etc and you do get alot of other benefits with the paid service. As they say, you get what you pay for :)

Is anyone else having problems with linking photos from flickr?

On the last ones I've uploaded to flickr, when I click properties I no longer get a url which displays the picture on this forum. Not sure if its something I've done/reset or whether flicker has changed?

The url looks incomplete as http://www.flickr.com/photos/33088620@N03/4122129872/ ie no file name/type.

Derek

Derek..

When I look at that photo on Flikr, it has the copyright "C", so it looks as if you have clicked the copyright symbol to prevent people downloading your pictures.

So I think that if you have copyright on Flikr prevents download details...

Hi Grahame,

All my photo's seem to have that, even ones that were visible before. But it also says on my screen when I look at my photostream that "anyone can see this photo".

This one was from National day and the properties show as http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3179/365 ... 1244_m.jpg hence it dispalys thus

I've not knowingly changed anything so I'm confused :?

I'll try uploadng some more and pay attention to the settings.

Derek
