We keep getting invited, friends of ours have gone for many years in one of their Healeys, maybe one day
Just a warning....every year they get stopped by the French police and get checked for all documents, warning triangle, reflective high visibility jacket, etc, etc, basically a road side mot! So be warned. If it has a UK number plate, the police will stop you.
