I'd just like to say thankyou to every one (especially Gareth) who commented on my earlier post about Gilber comfort, I met a very nice chap called Geraint today who allowed me to try out his excellent mk111 invader for size. Sadly due to me being a big tall lump with size 12 feet i do not think i could drive the car comfortably and possibly safely.
Thanks again and if anyone could offer any alternative vehicles that fit the criteria of minimal rot, pleanty of power and a bit of individuality i'd appreciate your comments.
Best wishes and keep preserving these fantastic cars
Anthony
Thanks everyone

Re: Thanks everyone
If you have not already ruled it out, the Scimitar will be a tight fit for you. OK for leg but a bit tight if youre tall in body.
Have you thought of developing an interest in military vehicles
All of the other classic GRP cars I can think of, will be a tight fit ( Marcos, Reliant, Peerless, Rochdale and Lotus) maybe a Corvette as there are a lot of big yanks. Never been in one myself. Try Clairmont Corvette.
Also maybe a later TVR might do as Peter Wheeler was 6'4", try a Tuscan.
Watch some old TopGear and see what Clarkson fits in......
Good luck
