Hi, I have a query as to whether there is a paint code to match the gelcoat colour of my '67
Genie - it's a pleasant shade of light turqoise, which looks very similar to the colour called
'Celeste Classico' which bicycle makers Bianchi use on many of their frames. I'm sure I have
seen a picture of a Genie/Invader in this colour. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Regards, John Davidson

Re: Gelcoat colour
Jed,
"it's a pleasant shade of light turqoise" .......if you mean a light blue colour?
A lot of Genie/Invaders were painted in "Rootes - Kingfisher Blue".
Your local paint suppliers should have a card/sample to show you.........not that far from this text colour?

Re: Gelcoat colour
Thanks for your replies. Yes, that on the bike pic. you posted is close, though
their celeste colour has varied slightly over time...I'll look at the Rootes Kingfisher
blue, though the gelcoat is more turquoise than blue - indeed, the Bianchi colour
has been described as pale blue, turquoise, AND pale green by various people!
Best Regards, John Davidson
