Gilbern at Wiscombe
A kind relative bought me the 'Gilberns at Wiscombe' book. A great read and just what I wanted to spur me on to get my car ready for the next seasons hillclimbing. Even better was a picture of my car on page 62! Different number plate, but I've pictures of my car with three different number plates with three different owners - hmmmm - but how many light coloured (black and white photo) Genie's with a Holley carb did the owner mentioned have? I'm hoping to get to Wiscombe this season and will try to uphold the honour of the cars and the club, I'll keep you all informed

Hi Jonathan,
I am pleased you liked the book, I expect Bruce Casey will be pleased to know his old car may eventually get up Wiscombe albeit some 19 years late!

The history of these cars makes them all the more interesting and thanks again for the effort expended in producing this book, not to mention all the other work club members put in. Lets hope there will be some more Gilberns willing to join me this year and add to that history
