Hi all,

The price of Gilberns is on the up, the superb coverage recently in magazine articles such as Retro Cars in the UK and Autoretro on mainland Europe has woken a lot of people up to the fact of what a superb marque Gilbern is. Since the Retro Cars article I have been asked by three different people, 'can you get me a red Mk.111' - such is the power of advertising!

Got to admit I do like Robins Mk3 and yes, Red is my first choice right now for the colour with a large amount of white, ie the bonnet, roof and boot, just so people don't get Robin and me mixed up :)

Well as we sold the last one for £6000 thought it was a bargain :D

It needs some work but chassis is very good , should be up and running soon

Oh and does anyone know how to find the build date of the car :?: , it was first registered in 73 but a 1972 build date would be nice :D

Have a chat with Phil Ivimey, the archivist - he has a pretty good idea as to manufacture dates, based on chassis numbers. There was a Rarebit article about dates a few months ago.
