As listed in the title does anyone here own this or have a photo of the reg number ?
I ask because I am sure it was a K reg car but had a chassis number after mine and would possibly be good ammo when I hit up the DVLA shortly regarding my Tax exemption.....
Cheers,
Stu

Hi I am one of the DVLA Approved Inspectors for the recovery of registration numbers and available to anyone who wants help.
I note that you want to get your car tax excempt. I guess you know that it is the date of build not the date of registration that is the factor that counts. All built before 1/1/73 are regarded as historic.
You require a letter of build date to present to the DVLA and you should have no problems. I have been involved with one or two and the letter works. I would have thought that letter from the Club Historian on headed note paper would cover it.
For interest, for the average british built car the archives at Gaydon will supply a letter of build date for £15. Further help if wanted 01363 82867

Hi Stu
Good luck, any problems you know where we are. I don't win all the cases I get but out of the last 25 only one was refused and on three occasions. Even the experts at the Federation could not crack it. It was originally a London registration and it seems all the pre 72 records have been binned so no trace.
All the best Maurice
