chassis Galvanizing?

Chassis going for welding soon and wanted it hot dipped galvanized but have been told the heat can sometimes twist frame has anybody had any experiences many thanks in advance Robert.

Hi Robert,

If you go down that route make sure you have plenty of drainage holes, if not the galvo will get trapped inside the chassis members, the end result is that your chassis will weigh twice as much! If it were me, shot blast and powder coat, and wax oil inside all the box sections.
