Invader Mk 3 Chassis condition
I checked the chassis when the car was on the lift and it seems to be on good condition withou rust!? Where are the possible rust-traps which I should check more carefully? Is it wise to fill the chassis with special liquide fat which tested very well in Germany? Who has personal experience with it?

Hello Avanti -
You would be wise to have a word with Phil Ivimey, his phone number is in the front of the Rarebit; he has more experience with Gilbern chasses than anyone else I know. In short, there are frequent situations where moisture has seeped in between the top side of a chassis tube and the fibreglass, so that what you are seeing is actually no longer a tube, but a u-shaped channel. If you get the Archive disc, there are some good articles on it, but if you need a quick bit of advice, call Phil. Best of luck!
