ebay gilbern

Postby macker1 » Mon Jun 16, 2014 6:08 am

Hello I would like to introduce my self , I am Jimmy from Warrington , I have just bought a Gilbern Genie from Ebay, (eBay item number:301203551692)
She has been laid up outside for a number of years. The chassis is in quite good condition, the body will need a lot of work the floor is out, and the body has crazing all over. I have now given the body a good clean and put she in side where she can dry out.

Greeting Jimmy...

And welcome to the forum ..

Car looks like it will make a good project and membership of the club will allow access to the technical sections which will be a great help ..

No doubt our Genie historian will be in contact at some point to beg for information about your car for our files and to share anything we may have ..

Looking forward to regular updates on your progress..

We are always here if you need help..

Best

Grahame

Hello Jimmy, welcome to the world of Gilberns.
I organize some of the activities for the North West Gilbern Group, we are reasonably active at local shows and events at Oulton Park etc. We have local members with Gilberns in various states, from Concours to Body Off surgery. As your car is off the road at present, you will be pleased to learn that our monthly meeting is held on the first Tuesday of the month at the
Hollow Tree pub, just of J10 M56 on the A49. usually there at 7.30 - 8.00pm. From Warrington it should be 5 min. on a push bike!

Stuart. tel. 01244 816075.

The form should be working, but a quick email or call to the Membership Secretary (details on the bottom of the form) would soon confirm it is..

FYI
The membership form is working, macker1's was one five processed in May/June.

The reg isn't bad either WMP 393G but doesn't trump WXM 4

Let's hope too, it is not a wimp when it's running.
